Hi, hope you’ve enjoyed it thus far. I’m trying to increase my pace of editing, to get it to you more quickly. These chapters really grabbed my heart, I hope they grab yours. Thanks for reading. Enjoy.
In this chapter Ned takes a step toward growing up. So does Jamie, but of a different kind.
I’m almost keeping up the pace. I’d appreciate any comments about whether this story is one that you’d be attracted to if you’re in a bookstore. I fully intend to submit this epistle to an agent, when I finish it and when I can hammer together a proper query letter.
thanks for reading. Enjoy
One one today, but there is still lots more to come. Jamie learns … well … I’ll just let you read it. Simpler that way. Hope you enjoy.
Another double, and here’s hoping it’s interesting enough to keep you coming to read. There’s light snow falling outside right now and it’s a little tough sometimes to put myself in the rural southern United States in summertime without air conditioning. I lived it as a child, we had fans and a big house with a huge attic but that was about all we had to avoid the heat. If you were working outside you had to be careful not to get heat stroke (been there, had it, don’t want to do that again) and some days we just had to stay inside and watch the heat shimmer off the fields and dust devils swirls churning up the dirt. That has nothing to do with this (sorry, I turned into a blogger there for a minute), just wanted to let you know the next chapters are in. Take care and enjoy.
